Job description

Creative Dining Services at University of Saint Francis is looking for a Part-Time Retail Supervisor. The Retail Supervisor maintains the retail dining services operation, works to ensure that the expectations of the client and Dining Services Director are met and/or exceeded, while responding to market trends and customer demands, producing desired outcomes in a fiscally responsible manner. Works professionally and cooperatively as a valued member of the dining services management team, assisting with any aspect of the dining services program necessary.

Core Responsibilities:

Daily Operations & Leadership

  • Over see closing procedures and guide staff to ensure the facility is secure and ready for the next day.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized environment.

Kitchen Production

  • Operate ovens safely to bake breads, muffins, cookies, and other products.
  • Manage inventory rotation to guarantee product freshness and minimize product waste.
  • Assist with putting away orders and restocking kitchen & stations.

Customer Service & Point of Sale

  • Run the cash register and efficiently operate the POS system.
  • Process customer transactions accurately while delivering excellent service.

Inventory Management

  • Perform nightly closing financial tasks, including counting cash drawers and ending sales for the day.
  • Place inventory orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and track stock accurately.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Retail sales experience
  • College degree preferred
  • ServSafe Certification
