The Opportunity
The Account Executive is responsible for managing JENNY BIRD'S existing West Coast distribution, while driving new account development. We are seeking a self-starter with exceptional communication and relationship building skills who will embody our brand mission which is to empower and uplift others.
This role is responsible for driving revenue, supporting account relationships and achieving weekly, monthly and yearly sales targets. The role will report to the Vice President of Wholesale with a dotted line to our Director of Brand distribution.
The West Coast Account Executive will be responsible for day-to-day account management inclusive but not limited to order book management, conducting market appointments, and supporting store visits and merchandising. The ideal candidate will have a proven success record in wholesale account management, strong relationships in the west coast territory and the ability to navigate a dynamic wholesale environment while partnering cross-functionally.
What You'll Do
  • Meet and exceed sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual basis
  • Analyze selling opportunities and identify reorder opportunities and suggested buys for key partners
  • Identify and communicate key areas of opportunity for the territory
  • Lead buyer meetings and collection walk thru's
  • Act as a brand ambassador to JENNY BIRD
  • Manage order book and work closely with coordinators and operations to strategize and prioritize shipments
  • Conduct store visits, merchandising support and seasonal product knowledge
  • Identify prospects and support distribution management, to ensure our partnerships align with our brand standards

Qualifications
  • 4 + years of wholesale experience
  • Experience managing the west coast territory and existing buyer relationships
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google sheets
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliverables
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and retail partners
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and strong follow-through
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Role Details
  • This is a Remote position.
  • Salary Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $75-95K. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. Total compensation package may include variable pay components tied to individual and company performance.
