Job description

Working alongside the Epicosity craft department, which is comprised of creative directors, art directors, graphic designers and video producers, directors and editors, the graphic design intern will work on both support projects for agency marketing, as well as real day-to-day client work. This internship will include functions such as:
  • Designing visual content for social channels
  • Creating and automating high-volume static and animated digital ads
  • Support for the design team on creation of print collateral, development of video design elements, needed resizing and layouts, and sales efforts
  • Valuable mentorship via our most tenured art directors

The most valuable skills a design intern candidate can bring to the table from the outset are:
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with and design certification in standard digital channels, such as Meta and Google
  • Efficiency in resizing, production and basic photo editing skills
  • Strong ability to communicate with creatives and problem-solve

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organic Content Creation
Regular responsibilities may include creating graphics for use on social media channels. Through Epicosity's proprietary platforms, you may be responsible for building static-image graphics, as well as basic animated graphics. A strong ability to interpret a given client's existing brand standards will be key.
Digital Ad Creation
Through Adobe software and our own AI-driven automated software, intern will build digital ad sets with variable text and graphics, including those with motion, batch-resized for the appropriate platforms and channels. This may include work for real Epicosity clients, as well as for agency marketing efforts and pro bono projects.
Production Support
Intern will be available for ad hoc projects throughout their time at Epicosity, which could include assisting on print projects, out-of-home advertising, digital video production support, photo editing and more. Through the guidance of our senior art director and the operations department, this could include a variety of design-related tasks throughout the summer.
Sales Support
In addition to client work, intern may be asked to assist on sales efforts for the agency, including design support for sales pitching, RFP responses, digital communication and more.
