Summary:

Responsible for managing the creative development, execution, and production workflows for creative projects. Orchestrates project kickoff meetings and works with business partners and vendors to ensure accurate and timely production and delivery to desired stakeholders.

Utilizes project management and technical expertise to support and drive efficiency through the Creative department. Collaborates with team to manage communication of all information relating to project specifications, distribution, budgets, and creative direction. Accountable for defining, communicating, and balancing workload and team utilization to ensure Creative Services team is operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the creative development, execution, and production workflow for creative projects.
  • Acts as liaison between project initiators/requesters, and the internal creative and production teams and managers. Gathers necessary information, including business goals/objectives, design/messaging information, format specifications, timing, and budget.
  • Processes, prepares, publishes, and communicates timing and actions to meet established deadlines of projects.
  • Remains abreast of job status and keeps all parties informed of the current status of all jobs in progress with regular frequency.
  • Defines, improves, documents and trains creative workflow processes to ensure team is operating at max efficiency.
  • Works with Creative leadership team to define, communicate and balance workload to ensure team is operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manages the routing for approval stages of projects, and reviews proofs during the stages to ensure project objectives have been met and questions/concerns have been addressed.
  • Troubleshoots on projects and facilitates resolution on any issues that may jeopardize the timely completion, accuracy, and quality of projects.
  • Ensures timely release of artwork and all other related job materials for release to appropriate internal or external stakeholders/ vendors.
  • Defines and documents department onboarding procedures and ensures new hires are set up with appropriate technology and access to perform daily activities
  • Leads the team's more complex creative assignments and mentors other team members.
  • Intakes and assesses briefs submitted by creative stakeholder partners to ensure they are accurately and thoroughly completed to ensure the team has the critical info necessary to KO new work.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content, to facilitate workflow and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Create, document, and maintain scalable processes and procedures across multiple brands.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance workflows to improve efficiency and collaboration.
  • Implement tools and systems to streamline project management and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree OR at least 5 years of experience doing project management for creative, execution, and production stages of marketing campaigns and projects
  • Intermediate project management experience (using software to plan, organize, and manage work and resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives, Workfront preferred).
  • Exceptional time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Office Suite: Creating reports, analyzing data sets to guide future actions, developing presentations, etc.).
  • Intermediate resource management experience (assessing level of effort, adding resources to a project, assigning resources to a task, leveling resources across task, assigning costs to a tasks, tracking percent complete, start, and finish dates, and viewing progress
  • Experience in the indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
  • Experience in identifying operational opportunities and recommending and implementing strategies to improve process and avoid issues.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships within a team.
  • Must be fluent in Figma, Workfront, Excel, and other project management software
  • Position is onsite at our HQ's in Chicago 800 West Fulton Market District

Salary Range: $95,000 ~ $135,000 +10% bonus opportunity
