Job description

 

The Creative Director develops winning creative solutions that deliver client satisfaction and meet the financial and business objectives of Jack Morton.  

 The CD Experiential focuses on developing solutions that drive attendee engagement and communicate client messages. Their communication solutions can include digital interactive, video, live presentations, social media, web, display technology and other strategies.  

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.  The duties and responsibilities as outlined in this Job Description may be changed from time to time by the Corporation, as it deems necessary, without further notice to the Employee. 

           Attend client project meetings with sales personnel as warranted. 

  • Work with client and sales to develop and optimize creative briefs.  
  • Develops creative ideas that deliver on client objectives, budget and Impact XM business objectives. 
  • Develop written, oral and rough graphic outlines in word, PPT and other means 
  • Maintain ongoing communications with account team on progress of creative development 
  • Develop and direct the development of proposal and presentation materials. 
  • Work with experiential production and other production departments to assist in the development of budgets and pricing for specific projects. 
  • Participate in client sales presentations and leads the experiential presentation section as needed. 
  • Consult and direct the technical specifications of project deliverables as needed to support budgeting and production needs. 
  • Travel to exhibition or congresses as warranted by client, project and budget to support a project deliverable. 
  • Scan Trend spotting. Lead, mentor, and inspire junior creative staff. 
  • Ensures appropriate collaboration and information flow between departments as well as both internal and external clients, stakeholders, and vendors as appropriate. 
  • Adhere to departmental administrative procedures and processes to maintain fiscal accountability and control, equitable and fair personnel practices, and efficiency of operations in his/her business units.

 Education and/or Experience                     

 Bachelors degree, preferably in communications, digital or related areas of study. 5 to 8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
