  • Partner with the Creative Director and creative leadership team to define and execute visual direction across ZAGG and mophie.
  • Lead art direction for photography, video, social content, motion, campaign assets, retail content, e-commerce, and brand initiatives.
  • Develop visual concepts that show product benefits clearly and make the work feel ownable to each brand.
  • Direct and manage photo and video shoots, including concept development, shot lists, mood boards, treatments, location scouting, talent direction, styling, and production logistics.
  • Guide social-first content creation, including short-form video, product demos, lifestyle content, campaign cutdowns, creator-style assets, and platform-specific content.
  • Bring a strong understanding of how CPG brands sell through content, packaging, retail, e-commerce, and paid media.
  • Work closely with design, marketing, product, e-commerce, retail, and channel teams to understand business needs and translate them into strong creative output.
  • Lead and mentor photographers, videographers, editors, motion designers, designers, and external partners.
  • Review photo selects, rough cuts, edits, animations, layouts, and final assets with a clear eye for quality and brand fit.
  • Contribute to storyboards, scripts, content concepts, campaign ideas, and production plans.
  • Build creative briefs, treatments, mood boards, reference decks, shot lists, and production proposals.
  • Manage production timelines, budgets, priorities, and deliverables across multiple active projects.
  • Maintain consistent visual standards across all content while helping push the brands forward.
  • Help update visual guidelines, content systems, and production standards as the brands grow.
  • Represent the visual content team in key meetings and clearly communicate creative direction, progress, risks, and needs.

What You'll Need to Be Successful / Qualifications
  • A strong portfolio with art direction, photography, video, social content, product storytelling, and campaign work.
  • 7+ years of relevant creative, content, or photo art direction experience.
  • 4+ years of team leadership, mentorship, or creative management experience.
  • Strong experience creating content for consumer products, CPG, retail, e-commerce, and social channels.
  • Proven art direction experience across photography, video, motion, social, and digital content.
  • A strong understanding of social content creation, including short-form video, platform behavior, creator-style content, paid social, and organic content.
  • Some 3D creation or 3D art direction experience, with the ability to work with 3D artists, review renders, and guide product visualization.
  • Strong photography knowledge, including lighting, composition, styling, propping, surfaces, backgrounds, set direction, and product detail.
  • Experience leading shoots from concept through final delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma, including experience building design systems, shared libraries, reusable components, and scalable templates that help teams create consistent work across brand, retail, e-commerce, and social channels.
  • Experience building mood boards, treatments, storyboards, shot lists, and creative briefs.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to move multiple workstreams without losing quality.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with creative, marketing, product, retail, and executive teams.
  • A sharp eye for detail, product truth, composition, pacing, and brand consistency.
  • The ability to give useful creative feedback and raise the quality of the work without slowing the team down.
  • All applications must include a portfolio link.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with mobile accessories, consumer electronics, technology, lifestyle, or premium product brands.
  • Experience working with in-house creative teams, studios, agencies, and external production partners.
  • Experience with Amazon, retail toolkits, PDP content, paid social, and launch campaigns.
  • Hands-on 3D skills in tools such as Blender, Cinema 4D, KeyShot, or similar software.
