Position Summary:

The Performance Creative Strategist bridges Brand and Paid Acquisition creative at Momentous, owning the day-to-day development of high-performing acquisition creative from strategy through execution.

This role identifies creative opportunities, develops concepts and messaging, writes copy, and produces static, video, motion, UGC-style, and partner content while maintaining Momentous’ premium brand standards. Working closely with Brand, Growth, internal Creative, and external partners, the Performance Creative Strategist continuously tests, learns, and evolves creative to drive new customer growth.

The ideal candidate combines strong creative judgment with hands-on execution, moves quickly without sacrificing craft, and is energized by experimentation, iteration, and using AI and modern creative tools to increase creative velocity.

Responsibilities:Paid Creative Strategy & Expertise
  • Stay current on emerging creative formats, consumer behavior, and performance marketing trends.
  • Help evolve Momentous’ paid creative standards and define what winning acquisition creative looks like across channels.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor, industry, and creative research to identify opportunities for new concepts, messaging, formats, and audiences.
  • Translate performance insights into new creative concepts, iterations, and testing opportunities.
  • Develop cohesive creative approaches across upper-, middle-, and lower-funnel advertising.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage existing and emerging acquisition channels.
Creative Pipeline & Planning
  • Own a rolling paid creative calendar, providing visibility from planning through production and launch.
  • Maintain a continuous pipeline of creative concepts, iterations, formats, and testing opportunities in partnership with Brand and Growth.
  • Ensure paid channels are consistently supplied with a diverse mix of acquisition creative.
  • Forecast upcoming creative needs and identify when internal Creative or external partners should support production.
Creative Development & Execution
  • Independently create static ads, GIFs, short-form video, lightweight motion assets, UGC-style creative, and other digital acquisition assets.
  • Write high-performing copy and develop messaging tailored to platform, audience, funnel stage, and objective.
  • Leverage AI and modern creative tools to rapidly prototype, iterate, and produce creative.
  • Manage the day-to-day paid creative workload, determining when to execute independently and when to engage internal or external creative partners.
  • Provide creative direction and maintain ownership of strategy, brand alignment, and quality regardless of who produces the final asset.
  • Execute creative quickly while maintaining Momentous’ premium brand standards.
Partner Content Strategy
  • Develop partner content strategies across paid social, sponsored content, newsletters, whitelisting, and related opportunities.
  • Create messaging and placement strategies that support cohesive customer journeys across partner-sponsored advertising.
  • Maintain visibility into upcoming partner opportunities, placements, and creative needs.
AI & Creative Process
  • Use AI to accelerate research, ideation, concept development, copywriting, scripting, storyboarding, and production.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging tools and workflows that improve creative speed, quality, and efficiency.
  • Develop scalable creative processes that enable faster testing and iteration without sacrificing craftsmanship.
Qualifications:
  • 2–4 years of experience working in paid creative.
  • Deep understanding of performance creative, customer psychology, and acquisition.
  • Exceptional design instincts with the ability to create polished creative quickly.
  • Strong copywriting skills across paid advertising and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience producing digital content across static, motion, video, and UGC formats.
  • Ability to interpret performance insights and translate learnings into creative action.
  • Strong understanding of brand systems and the ability to thoughtfully stretch them.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple creative priorities simultaneously.
