About DanceOne

DanceOne is dedicated to celebrating and supporting the dance community through education, artistry, and connection. Our mission is to inspire dancers, educators, and studios nationwide by creating opportunities for growth — both on and beyond the stage. We believe in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and creativity while making a positive impact on the next generation of dancers and dance lovers.

Position Summary

The Sales Manager is a key member of the DanceOne team, responsible for building meaningful relationships, driving growth, and expanding participation across all DanceOne programs and events. This role blends strategic sales expertise with a genuine passion for dance and community engagement. The ideal candidate thrives on connection, creativity, and purpose — turning opportunities into lasting partnerships that uplift and inspire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with DanceOne’s goals for growth and brand impact.

  • Build, manage, and nurture relationships with studio owners, educators, and partners to expand participation.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets within the dance and performing arts industries.

  • Represent DanceOne at conventions, events, and trade shows — promoting programs and engaging directly with the community.

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and events teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for clients and participants.

  • Maintain and track a healthy sales pipeline, report on performance metrics, and forecast future growth opportunities.

  • Provide valuable field insights to inform programming, messaging, and partnership initiatives.

  • Support client retention and loyalty through personalized communication and follow-up.

  • Embody and promote DanceOne’s core values — integrity, passion, creativity, and community — in every interaction.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven success in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the performing arts, events, education industries or medical sales.

  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Confident and engaging public speaker, comfortable representing the brand at live events.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, sales tracking, and Google or Microsoft Office Suite tools.

  • Deep appreciation for dance, the arts, and community development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, partnership development, or account management.

  • Experience in the dance, performing arts, or event industry strongly preferred.

  • Travel required to conventions, events, and studio visits. (Up to 75% travel)

  • Ability to work occasional weekends and flexible hours during event seasons.

Why Join DanceOne

At DanceOne, you’ll join a passionate, innovative team dedicated to making a difference in the dance world. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with studios, educators, and artists nationwide while helping shape the future of dance education and artistic development. We offer a collaborative environment, growth opportunities, and the chance to be part of something that truly inspires.
