Job Description
Overview:
The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing is a strategic storyteller and execution-focused leader responsible for shaping and delivering clear, compelling communications and campaigns that elevate the value of the Advanced Diagnostics portfolio. This role ensures consistent, customer-centric messaging across all channels, enabling commercial impact, strengthening brand credibility, and supporting adoption of innovative diagnostic solutions.
About the role:
This role is responsible for partnering with and maintaining ongoing relationships with Global and Regional Marketers, Sales Enablement and Commercial teams, Digital and Creative services and Agency Partners, and to ensure that MarCom plans and deliverables are aligned with ADx standards, U.S. regional marketing objectives and strategies, including the development and standardization of brand positioning, content creation, core messages, regionally-specific segmented value propositions, and strategically relevant marketing claims. All while ensuring compliance to Medical Affairs/Regulatory/Legal standards and MarCom operational policies and procedures. The role also includes responsibility for budget management, campaign reporting, and conferences/tradeshows support.

This role plays a critical part in strengthening how Waters communicates value-ensuring that every message is clear, credible, and connected to solving a customer needs. By aligning communications across teams and channels, this individual helps accelerate adoption, reinforce market leadership, and ultimately support better outcomes for patients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Takes a leadership role in the development and implementation of best-in-class, strategic marketing communications plans for ADx initiatives
  • Lead annual communications planning process in collaboration with Marketing to determine campaign direction and budgetary spend by portfolio
  • Create and oversee the development of high-impact messaging, content and collateral, including thought leadership, product communications, sales enablement materials, and digital assets aligned to the portfolio strategy and that resonate with key healthcare stakeholders across the diagnostic pathway
  • Partner with Global and Regional Marketing to activate omnichannel campaigns
  • Own agency partnerships and relationships for concept and creative development, message testing, media buying/planning, etc.
  • Lead creative briefs execution and creative concepts reviews to ensure effective alignment with business goals, marketing objectives and brand identity. Facilitate constructive dialogue between marketing stakeholders and creative services driving greater on-target execution, reducing unnecessary rework, and optimizing budget expenditures
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across campaigns, collateral, and all customer touchpoints
  • Develop/Guide recommendations for most effective marketing mix to deliver on business objectives and ensure timing and channel strategy are aligned to maximize audience reach, engagement, and impact
  • Support key product launches and commercial initiatives with coordinated communications plans
  • Serve as a central connection across Marketing and Medical/Legal/Regulatory to align on key messages and product claims to ensure compliance for all promotional activities
  • Define and track KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness across awareness, engagement, and lead generation
  • Leverage and communicate customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends to internal stakeholders/leadership to continuously improve business and campaign impact and inform messaging strategy
  • Be the brand steward for the ADx business and its portfolio of products, services, and solutions

Required education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing communications, content strategy, digital marketing, or related discipline
  • Agency experience in either/or media buying/planning or account management- required
  • Proven ability to lead the development and execution integrated communications strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Successful execution of omni-channel campaigns
  • Experience translating scientific or technical information into customer-relevant messaging
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to connect messaging to business objectives
  • Collaborative leader who can influence across functions
  • Ability to adapt and perform in a global matrixed environment

Preferred
  • Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare marketing
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and scientific communications
  • Experience supporting product launches and complex portfolio messaging
  • Background in digital content strategy and omnichannel communications
