Purpose of Role

Under Armour is looking for a Sr. Creative Lead to help shape our brand by crafting compelling creative from concept through execution that disrupts sports culture within the Americas Region. In this role you will work collaboratively with a team of passionate creatives, marketers and producers to bring to life powerful work that resonates with athletes at every touchpoint. From co-branded campaigns with key wholesale partners to exclusive product launches, you'll be responsible for translating creative briefs into powerful executions across a variety of marketing mediums and platforms that inspire and inform the next generation of athletes.  

Your Impact
  • This role will be accountable for how our brand is represented at key strategic wholesale accounts across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Ideate and create compelling content that aligns with Under Armour's Brand Strategy - and drive those ideas through execution across streaming, digital, and social platforms.
  • Direct and collaborate with internal and external production partners to deliver compelling and effective creative. 
  • This includes on-set direction during photography and video productions.
  • Be part of the core team driving new ideas and approaches to how the Brand shows up in the America's region.
  • Provide leadership, collaboration, direction, and support to internal cross-functional teams. This includes meeting with partners to align on marketing/creative strategy, as well as collaborating with creative and cross-functional partners to drive consumer-focused content strategy and execution.
  • Be an advocate for the Brand and an expert on our products-translate that understanding into actionable content, activations, and consumer experiences.
  • Interpret and influence creative briefs to create consumer-focused positioning and creative communication strategies that drive defined KPIs. 
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in creative development and execution 
  • A portfolio that showcases your proven experience in creating original creative concepts and taking them all the way through execution is required.
  • Experience with on-set photography and video direction is required.
  • Strong story development, creative writing and conceptual creative skills.
  • A deep understanding of sports culture.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing mediums and the nuances of channel and platform specific content. 
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to get the work done and meet commitments made to others (reliability and accountability)
  • Ability to think strategically, manage many tasks at once, and deliver high-quality output every time, on time
  • Commitment to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced, consumer-obsessed, test-and-learn environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Microsoft Office and Mac platform proficiency
  • Strong fundamental design skills as well as demonstrated creative capabilities.
Workplace Location
  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore HQ office.
  • Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in-office per week.

Base Compensation

 $125,000.00-$165,000.00 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
