The Role

We are pursuing consumer products and live experiences because we believe it will drive meaningful show awareness/buzz with more tangible, curated ways to interact with our most popular content and in effect, drive long-term revenue. We produce live experiences to provide fans their hero moment by placing them in the stories they love IRL. We activate against many different IPs on Netflix, all with different nuances and workflows when it comes to rights and creative approvals.
The Experiences Team is seeking a Creative Approvals Manager to help our IP come to life across a broad range of physical experiences. This role is responsible for managing creative & legal reviews and fostering relationships with our key stakeholders (internal & external) and to establish efficient workflows.
What you will do:
  • Responsible for managing and tracking high volume key stakeholder feedback on Experiences IP projects
  • Design, implement, and refine workflows that facilitate Experiences' creative reviews, across production and marketing materials
  • Act as point of contact with Content stakeholders to lead Experiences introductory and ongoing communication while managing brand approvals.
  • Use diplomatic skills to collaborate and achieve approvals across different stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Experiences' production and marketing departments to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration with Internal XF stakeholders and External stakeholders
  • Proactively look for opportunities to improve processes and standards. Establish operational changes across existing processes for best practice approval, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence
  • Maintain trackers, status reports, and key process documents as it relates to creative approvals
  • Be the conduit between existing CP teams and Experiences for assets management and data collection

What we need from you:
  • Demonstrated, 7+ years of experience in the entertainment or themed entertainment/LBE industry building and owning operational workflows around IP management and content review and approval processes
  • Strong knowledge of Entertainment. Preference for knowledge for Experiences industry in both permanent and touring experiences
  • An understanding of Experiences creative development design & production timelines and key review milestones
  • Superior project management skills

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000-$360,000.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
