Job description

Experience Without Limits. Come shape the future of brand experience.

At Jack Morton, we create, and build, head-turning, smile-inducing, impact driving brand experiences. We exist to redefine what experiential can achieve, helping clients unlock the full value of experiences.

That takes a team that's bold, curious, and acts as one - building on ideas, pushing boundaries, and showing up for each other. Here, you'll do your best work, grow fast, and collaborate across clients, disciplines, and global teams to bring new ideas to life.

This is a place where curiosity drives what's next, boldness raises the bar, and we win together. Where ownership is expected, egos are left at the door, and the work reflects the people behind it.

Experience without limits — in your work, your growth, and your impact.

*must be able to work hybrid in a Jack US office*

We're seeking a passionate Design Director (3D environments) with an uncompromising eye for environmental design to join our team, helping shape culturally relevant experiences for some of the world's most iconic brands—including leaders in the automotive space.

You'll transform ambitious ideas into sophisticated three-dimensional brand environments across sports, travel, art, hospitality, and culture. If you combine cultural curiosity with exceptional craft, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do:

  • Design compelling 3D environments that translate brand strategy into immersive, unforgettable experiences.
  • Present creative concepts with clarity, confidence and conviction, inspiring clients and internal teams alike.
  • Ensure every design decision—from architecture and spatial planning to materials, finishes, furnishings, and graphics—works together as one cohesive vision.
  • Partner with account, creative, production and fabrication teams to deliver experiences that are creatively exceptional and strategically effective.

Key Accountabilities:

Creative Development

  • Design for what's next. Develop environments informed by emerging cultural movements, contemporary design, architecture and art.
  • Design with intention. Create experiences that reflect a deep understanding of audience behaviors, aspirations and expectations.
  • Bring cultural perspective. Continuously introduce new references, materials and creative inspiration that elevate the work and expand our thinking.

Exceptional Execution

  • Own design from start to finish: Protect the idea through every stage—concepting, build, install, and everything in between.
  • Obsess over craft: Partner with designers, producers and fabrication partners to ensure every detail is intentional and exceptionally executed.
  • Continuously evolve the work: Explore new materials, fabrication techniques, and emerging technologies that redefine what's possible in brand experience.

Collaboration

  • Work seamlessly across disciplines: Keep design cohesive by partnering closely with design, production, strategy, and account teams.
  • Keep the idea alive: Maintain creative integrity even when timelines shift or budgets flex.
  • Cultivate community: Help foster a culture where ideas flow, every voice is heard, and collaboration feels energizing and fun.

Requirements:

You Bring

  • 7+ years designing experiential environments for culturally driven brands.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, industrial design, environmental design or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods and construction documentation.
  • Experience leading designers while mentoring and elevating creative teams.

How You Show Up

  • You say "yes" more than "no"
  • You carry the confidence and polish required to partner with top-tier clients
  • You're energized by pace—and thrive in high-style environments

How You Strengthen Our Culture

  • You raise the standard for both the work and the people around you.
  • You're generous with ideas, thoughtful in collaboration, and invested in the success of the team.
  • You combine ambitious creative thinking with the discipline and follow-through to bring exceptional experiences to life.
