Job description

This role is built for a seasoned content strategist and copywriter who believes that beautiful, purposeful storytelling is a genuine business asset. You'll shape how Essential Oxygen sounds, feels, and connects across every channel, every campaign, every word.
Brand Voice, Creative Direction & Storytelling

  • Own and evolve Essential Oxygen’s brand voice across all channels, ensuring it remains credible, elevated, educational, sustainability-rooted, and instantly recognizable.
  • Write and execute compelling, conversion-focused marketing copy across the full ecosystem, including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, email campaigns, paid advertising, social media, blog content, product launches, and sales materials.
  • Develop educational content that clearly communicates the efficacy, ingredient philosophy, and differentiators behind Essential Oxygen products while maintaining regulatory and brand integrity.
  • Create brand storytelling that builds long-term trust and emotional connection with our wellness-focused and sustainability-minded customer community.
  • This is a hands-on creative role responsible for both strategic direction and execution. The position is expected to personally create high-quality marketing assets, including written copy, campaign concepts, and digital graphics, rather than functioning solely as a project manager or agency coordinator.

Content Strategy, Campaign Execution & Creative Production

  • Lead content and campaign planning across channels, from editorial calendars and launch timelines to full-funnel marketing campaigns with clear audience targeting, messaging, and calls to action.
  • Execute the development of marketing assets across digital channels, including social media graphics, video, paid ad creative, email content, online display ads, sales presentations, educational materials, and broader company-wide digital design needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Social Media Lead and E-Commerce Manager to ensure cohesive messaging and creative execution across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, email, and organic social channels.
  • Use AI-powered design, content, and workflow tools to accelerate creative production while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
  • Manage and direct freelance creatives, photographers, designers, copywriters, and external marketing partners as needed, while maintaining ownership of timelines, deliverables, and creative consistency.

E-Commerce & Digital Brand Experience

  • Own and continuously improve the digital brand experience across Shopify storefronts, including product copy, imagery direction, educational content, landing pages, and blog strategy with a focus on both conversion and brand alignment.
  • Partner with the E-Commerce Manager to support marketplace content development for Amazon and Walmart, including A+ content, SEO copy, listing optimization, promotional campaigns, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure every digital touchpoint reflects the Essential Oxygen brand aesthetic: clean, considered, modern, and trustworthy.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches

  • Partner with Product Development and company leadership to develop positioning, messaging frameworks, naming concepts, and launch strategies for new product introductions.
  • Translate high-level company vision and strategic direction into actionable marketing plans, campaign recommendations, and launch execution.
  • Recommend and refine marketing strategies through ongoing collaboration with leadership, using performance insights, customer behavior, and market trends to improve effectiveness over time.
  • Support trade shows, retailer presentations, events, and partnership opportunities through the development of compelling sales materials, presentation decks, educational content, and experiential storytelling assets.
