Job description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, organized, and self-motivated Social Media Specialist to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role is responsible for managing and creating engaging social media content for our Single Family and Multifamily divisions, supporting a portfolio of more than 50 residential communities.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, enjoys being both behind and in front of the camera, and has experience producing high-quality short-form video content. This position requires regular travel to our communities and properties to capture photos and videos that showcase apartment homes, rental homes, amenities, and the unique lifestyle each property offers. Other duties as assigned.


Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation

  • Visit apartment communities and single-family rental properties to capture professional photos and videos.
  • Film and edit short-form videos for TikTok, Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms.
  • Create engaging content highlighting apartment homes, single-family rental homes, amenities, resident events, leasing specials, neighborhood attractions, and company initiatives.
  • Develop creative content ideas that align with current social media trends while maintaining brand standards.

Social Media Management

  • Manage the social media presence for the company's Single Family and Multifamily divisions.
  • Publish and maintain content across multiple social media accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar.
  • Write compelling captions and calls to action tailored to each property's audience.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, and community engagement, escalating inquiries when appropriate.

Video Production

  • Plan, film, and edit high-quality vertical videos optimized for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other emerging platforms.
  • Produce property tours, amenity showcases, resident testimonials, staff introductions, educational content, and lifestyle videos.
  • Stay current on social media trends, viral content, sounds, and platform best practices to keep our brands competitive.

Brand Management

  • Ensure all content aligns with company branding, Fair Housing guidelines, and marketing standards.
  • Collaborate with corporate and on-site teams to promote community events, leasing campaigns, resident initiatives, and company announcements.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor engagement, reach, impressions, video performance, follower growth, and lead generation metrics.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports with recommendations for content optimization.
  • Analyze trends and replicate successful content strategies across the portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Experience creating content for TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms.
  • Strong photography, videography, and video editing skills.
  • Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar editing software.
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple brands and projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel regularly to company properties.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multifamily housing, real estate, hospitality, or property management marketing.


  • Knowledge of current TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram trends.


  • Experience creating user-generated content (UGC) and lifestyle marketing campaigns.
