Reports To: Marketing Manager, Marketing Specialist
Program Duration: August 2026 - May 2027 (Full Season Commitment Required)

Program Overview
The Florida Everblades and Hertz Arena are seeking highly driven, creative, and dependable individuals for a high-performance Content Creator Internship Program. This role is designed for students who want real-world experience creating content inside a fast-paced professional sports and live entertainment environment.
Interns will operate as part of the day-to-day content and marketing team-capturing live moments, producing real-time content, supporting digital campaigns, and helping shape the public-facing voice of two major entertainment brands.

Core Responsibilities
Content Creation & Storytelling
  • Develop high-quality written, visual, graphic, and video content for:
    • Social media platforms
    • Website content
    • Email marketing campaigns
    • In-arena displays and promotions
    • Event marketing campaigns
  • Capture and edit behind-the-scenes, fan engagement, promotional, and game-day content
  • Assist with content ideation, planning, and execution across both Hertz Arena and Florida Everblades platforms

Photography, Videography & Highlight Production
  • Attend Everblades games, concerts, and arena events to capture live content
  • Shoot photography and video content for marketing and promotional use
  • Assist in creating post-event recap content and highlight packages
  • Support short-form vertical content production for reels, TikTok, and other social formats

Graphic Design & Creative Support
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop graphics and visual assets
  • Assist in designing:
    • Social graphics
    • Promotional assets
    • Event advertisements
    • Digital signage content
  • Utilize tools such as:
    • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Photoshop
    • Premiere Pro
    • Canva

Commitment Requirements (Strict & Non-Negotiable)This is a selective and demanding internship program intended for serious candidates.
  • Full Season Commitment: August 2026 - May 2027 (no partial internships)
  • Event Requirement: Must work a minimum of 50% of all events each month
  • Weekly Requirement: Minimum of one full business day per week in-office from 10 am - 5 pm
  • Availability: Nights, weekends, and holidays required based on event schedule
  • Time-Off Policy: Minimum two (2) weeks' advance notice required for any absence
  • Event Expectation: Must be available for both Everblades games and Hertz Arena events

QualificationsCurrently pursuing a degree in:
    • Marketing
    • Digital Media
    • Sports Management
    • Or related field
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Photography experience and access to a camera are required
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends
  • Basic graphic design skills are required
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro preferred
  • Experience with video editing and short-form content creation is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, live-event environments
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail
