ROKA is seeking a Creative Director to help bring our products, stories, and campaigns to life. This is a player/coach role for someone who is equally comfortable developing big ideas, providing creative direction, and rolling up their sleeves to bring those ideas to life.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creative vision and execution of the ROKA brand across digital, social, email, web, retail, print, packaging, and campaign initiatives
  • Design, deliver and collaborate on tactical and strategic creative work
  • Stay close to the execution, contributing hands-on when needed
  • Lead creative development from concept through production, ensuring work is delivered with speed, quality, and attention to detail
  • Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into compelling creative campaigns and experiences
  • Maintain a consistent and elevated brand experience across all channels and customer touchpoints
  • Evolve and grow brand standards as needed for ROKA to remain cutting edge and relevant with its customers, while remaining consistent across platforms

Must-haves:
  • Experience building and leading creative work. For a premium consumer brand a major plus
  • Strong ability level in Figma + Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat)
  • HTML, web knowledge, Prismic CMS and WebFlow experience is a strong plus
  • Proven ability to build and manage content production, including partnerships with videographers, photographers, creators, agencies, and freelance talent
  • Demonstrated success leading photo and video shoots from concept through final delivery
  • Proven ability to operate as a player/coach, leading teams while remaining an active contributor
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns across digital, social, email, web, video, and, photography
  • Impeccable eye for design aesthetics and great attention to detail
  • Track record of finishing long-term, complex projects from inception to delivery
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on and deliver quality work on tight deadlines
  • Exceptional teamwork, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to present work, and manage feedback from various stakeholders
  • Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction
  • Strong knowledge of key marketing best practices.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment within a small team
  • Strong portfolio of recent design work required

Work Location:
ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA. The Company is on a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must be prepared to work on-site as often as needed per the Department's business needs. Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
