Administrative Assistant - Creative Team

Position Overview: Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to the Manager Communications and Creative Team.

Reports to: Manager Communications

Prerequisites:

  • Ability to meet all minimum eligibility requirements to be a member of Family Church.
  • Supportive of the doctrinal statements as found in the Baptist Faith & Message of 2000.
  • Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook, other MS Suite applications are preferred.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor.

General Responsibilities: (Applies to all Administrative Roles)

  • Receive and make ministry contacts including phone calls, text messages, and letters.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for campus, and/or ministry areas.
  • Manage and effectively prioritizing personal workflow.
  • Maintain a cooperative spirit by assisting others when needed or requested.
  • Communicate effectively with leaders, peers, and members.
  • Demonstrate stewardship of church resources including supplies, equipment, and intellectual property.
  • Understand and adhere to procedural guidelines and policies.


Role-Specific Responsibilities:


  • Manage assigned projects from beginning through completion, in partnership with the receiving department or campus. This role serves as the project manager for large-scale requests.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and approval workflows for large requests, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and deliverables stay on schedule.
  • Ensure assigned department work orders are addressed in a timely manner, including providing requesters with appropriate ticket status.
  • Coordinate with creative ministry team members to ensure all communications materials and graphics are ready for services and special events.
  • Assist in the execution of internal communications strategy.
  • Maintain and enforce the Identity Policy and Procedures (branding guidelines).
  • Serve as the digital presence manager, including website and social media content production.
  • Oversee the creation, design, layout, and proofing of printed materials, alongside design team and Creative Director.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
