WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Momentum Worldwide is looking for an ambitious, critical thinker with sponsorship marketing experience and passion for pursuing meaningful insights to impact brand communications. Our Senior Associate, Partnerships will be responsible for providing strategic counsel to guide clients' sponsorship investments within the world of sport, entertainment & lifestyle. This is an exciting opportunity for innately curious individuals looking to hone subject-matter expertise as part of the fast-growing strategy discipline in an award-winning creative brand experience agency.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'll DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Supports, and in some cases manage, sponsorship analytics deliverables
- Defining success and benchmark goals for new programs including sponsorship evaluation methodology, measurement reporting and KPI development
- Scorecard development
- Drives development of agency documents including sponsorship analysis playbook
- Support agency sponsorship tool development
- Manages client deliverables related to sponsorship strategy
- Develops and delivers strategic POVs/sponsorship evaluations and presentations through effective use of creative storytelling and qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Audits current investments and provides optimization recommendations and roadmaps
- Analyzes complex datasets to ensure clients sponsorship investments are strategically-aligned
- Segmentation Analysis, looking at ways to segment audiences and identifying connections across various marketing channels
- Strategic prioritizing of strategies and recommendations based on ROI calculations
- Supports client-servicing on all elements of the sponsorship lifecycle
- Drives day-to-day client communication as needed
- Develops and cultivates junior- to mid-level client relationships, using both initiative and judgment to adapt communication to the appropriate levels of the organization.
- Liaison with Business Leadership team
- Responsible for partner relationship and rights management
- Develops sponsorship agreements in collaboration with client's legal departments
- Coordination of standardized processes for vehicle and financial logistics
- Maintains pulse on industry trends and category developments
- Research lead to help craft thought leadership pieces including industry POVs and case studies
- Knowledge mapping and insights creation through third party and client data
- Collaborates with inter-disciplinary agency teams and external stakeholders
- Contribute SME and insights to drive ideation for creative brand activations alongside teams of business leaders, strategists, creatives, and integrated producers.
- Leverage creative problem-solving ability to aid in the agency's development of solutions to solve client's brand and business challenges.
- Conduit to working relationship among disciplines within Strategy & Insights Collective such as Research, Strategy, Measurement & Analytics
- Contribute to various internal and external projects related to both existing clients as well as new business efforts (RFP responses/pitches/etc.)

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)
- Bachelors degree preferred; advanced degree and curriculum focus in math, data sciences or statistics a plus
- Knowledge and passion to work in the sports & entertainment industry with 2-4+ years relevant experience at an agency, sports/entertainment property, media company and/or brand with background in sponsorship marketing, evaluation, KPI measurement, and/or data analytics; proven ability to work with and understand large datasets, considered to be an asset
- Familiarity with the structure of sponsorship agreement, considered to be an asset
- Knowledge/ experience within the automotive industry, considered an asset
- Proven ability to develop and deliver Powerpoint presentations, reports, and other deliverables to clients and other internal/external stakeholders
- Experience in developing proposal/contract evaluations, measurement plans, and/or frameworks, considered to be an asset
- Excellent understanding of advance web searching techniques
- Strong Proficiency within Microsoft Excel (i.e. Crosstabbing, Graphing, etc.)
- Strong Proficiency within Microsoft Powerpoint/Keynote (Graphing, Formatting, etc.)
- Working knowledge of syndicated (MRI Simmons/Scarborough) and custom survey research and analysis a plus
- Strong project management, organizational and strategic thinking skills
- Detail-oriented and articulate with strong communications skills
- Ability to be comfortable and efficient working in a fast-paced environment often requiring flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
- Highly motivated and capable of both working independently and with a team
- Supports training and development of other staff members where appropriate.
