  • Structure loan terms, pricing, and covenants aligned with risk, collateral, and market standards.
  • Partner with Portfolio Managers to monitor portfolio performance, ensure timely financial reporting, and maintain accurate risk ratings.
  • Monitor construction projects (where applicable), including budgets, timelines, and draws.
  • Stay informed on real estate market trends, property valuations, and economic conditions to anticipate client needs and identify new opportunities.
  • Present loan opportunities and recommendations to credit approval committees within lending authority.
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and loan documentation standards.
  • Represent Rockland Trust within the real estate community and local markets.

Required Experience

  • Strong credit skills, including analysis of property-level financials and borrower capacity.
  • Experience with a variety of property types (e.g., multifamily, office, industrial, retail, and construction).
  • Formal credit training highly preferred.
  • Established network of real estate professionals (developers, brokers, attorneys, CPAs, etc.).
  • Strong financial analysis, structuring, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations specific to CRE lending.
  • Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.
