Job description

Location: Jackson, WI
Shift: 1st Shift | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Pay: $26.50/hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Crating Specialist for a 1st shift opportunity in Jackson, WI. This is a hands-on position, and the hiring team is selective about candidates being submitted.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and prepare crates for products and materials being shipped.
  • Safely package and secure products for transportation.
  • Use nail guns and staple guns to assemble crates and packaging.
  • Operate a forklift to move products and materials throughout the shipping area.
  • Prepare orders for shipment and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
  • Inspect products and packaging to ensure orders are properly secured.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all shipping, production, and workplace safety procedures.

Required Experience

  • Previous nail gun and/or staple gun experience is required.
  • Forklift operating knowledge/experience is required.
  • Previous shipping, crating, warehouse, construction, carpentry, or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools.
  • Mechanically inclined and able to perform hands-on work.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety.
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record.
  • Able to work the full 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM schedule.

Candidates must have nail gun or staple gun experience along with forklift knowledge to be considered.
