CRANE OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • OPERATING CRANE UNDER COMPLETE CONTROL
  • OPERATING CRANE UNDER SUPERVISION
  • INSPECTING THE CRANE AND ALL OF ITS COMPONENTS AND BELOW THE HOOK LIFITING DEVICES ROUTINELY AND PERIODICLY TO ENSURE ITS SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF ALL INVOLVDED.
  • PERFORMING ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
  • CARRYING TOOLS FOR PERFORMING REPAIRS AS NEEDED
  • UNDERSTANDING AND EXECUTING THE JOB BILLING PROCESS
  • WEARING REQUIRED PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT WHILE PERFORMING WORK.
  • CLEANING AND MAINTAINING THE CRANE AND ALL COMPONENTS
  • UTILIZING MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS DURING ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY WHILE ERECTING CRANE, AND WHILE OPERATING THE CRANE IN ALL CONFIGURATIONS

CRANE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST POSSESS A N.C.C.C.O. CRANE OPERATOR CERTIFICATION CARD FOR SIZE AND TYPE OF CRANE OPERATING.
  • MUST POSSESS CRANE OPERATOR QUALIFICATION EVALUATIONS ON ALL TYPES OF SIZE AND TYPE OF CRANES OPERATING.
  • MUST HAVE NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE OF OSHA REGULATIONS, AND ANSI STANDARDS ASSOCIATED WITH CRANE AND RIGGING SERVICES
  • MUST BE PROFICIENT IN ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE DIRECTION(S) FROM SUPERVISION.
  • MUST PERFORM DAILY AND MONTHLY EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS
  • MUST FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES AS WELL AS THAT OF CUSTOMERS.
