Job description

Genesis Properties is recruiting a Leasing Agent for an affordable property in Norfolk, Virginia.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Low Income Tax Credit Housing, leasing experience REQUIRED
  • OneSite experience preferred
  • An upbeat and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask
  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal)

This position will require you to generate traffic and new move-ins to keep up the occupancy of our properties. You will be responsible for processing applications, as well as helping with other office tasks. These tasks include filing, answering the phone, entering service requests for residents, and completing pre-move in inspections. You will be responsible for marketing and posting Craigslist Ads. The Leasing Agent will be expected to provide a high level of customer service to prospects and residents.

Compensation: Starting at $18.00/hr. DOE plus bonus structure
