Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician, Dillon, SC
We are currently seeking talent for a Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician job open at our new Dillon, SC facility. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for the repair and ongoing maintenance of all plant machinery and equipment. This includes performing regular inspections to ensure that the machinery and equipment is operating to design specifications and that down time is minimal so plant production schedules are not adversely impacted. This role is responsible for troubleshooting problems and issues and for finding and implementing cost effective resolutions.
Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed within the guidelines set forth in the Arclin Safety Policies, Safe Work Permits (Energy Isolation (LOTO), Confined Space Permit, Hot Work), and Operational Procedures
  • Perform and document Preventative Maintenance on all plant equipment as assigned in the CMMS
  • Work closely with production personnel to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
  • Perform repairs and calibrate electrical equipment and instrumentation
  • Troubleshoots electrical controls including PLC's, motors, and variable speed drives systems
  • Assemble, replace, and repair pumps, valves, piping, rollers, and other plant equipment
  • Perform regular checks on all building equipment such as sprinkler system, pumps, chillers, compressors, and power systems
  • Operate machine shop equipment to repair, fabricate, weld, cut, and braze process equipment
  • Operate rigging equipment and dollies to replace heavy machinery and parts
  • Researches supplies, parts, and tools needed to complete work orders. Assists in identifying and maintaining an accurate inventory of spare parts.
  • Contributes to upkeep and updating of required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs, documents, manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc.

Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician Job Qualifications:
  • HS diploma/GED or 4 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience handling both reactive & preventative maintenance required
  • Knowledge of mechanical equipment repair (pumps, valves, bearings, conveyors, etc.)
  • Experienced in plumbing air, water, and chemical distribution systems using steel, copper, iron, or plastic.
  • Experienced in welding, cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding, brazing, and use of hand tools.
  • Experienced in hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission
  • Familiar with troubleshooting low to medium voltage electrical systems to determine faults within those systems

    • PLC maintenance, installations and faultfinding experience a plus

  • Able to work shifts, OT, and rotate on-call
