The Experience Ambassador contributes to a preeminent experience for our patients, families and teams by providing non-medical care and empowering improvement efforts directly connected to the strategic initiatives for the organization. During times of high census or stress, this position provides continuous communication and support, recognizes potential negative situations, and acts as a liaison between patients and families, and the team providing care. With a constant pulse on the culture and experience temperature, the Experience Ambassador identifies, proactively manages and empowers improvements when lower census allows for longer term, proactive efforts to increase the resiliency of the organization during times of stress.

The Experience Ambassador supports the full experience ecosystem by providing a warm and welcoming first impression to Cook Children's through assistance to patients, families and visitors who enter the Emergency Department or once admitted to floor.

Education & Experience:
B.S. degree,
3 years of experience in Customer Service or related role required.
Working knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS requirements preferred.
