The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pools and an updated fitness center scheduled to open on September 14st. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a part-time Aquatics Group Fitness Instructor to join our team. This individual will provide a high energy atmosphere that can meet the needs of advanced, intermediate, and beginner clients through well-structured class programming.
The candidate will be required to perform 2-3 demo songs to ensure the quality and structure of their knowledge.
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to put together a water fitness program.
  • Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willing to obtain.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safe exercise technique and principles; able to incorporate music, tempo, cueing technique, and rhythm.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate all skills being taught to participants.
  • Maintains a professional attitude toward your responsibilities, fellow instructors and members.
  • Be in good physical condition to teach group exercise.
  • Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
  • Must be outgoing, energetic and able to perform in front of an audience.
