Job Summary:

The Manager, Demand Planning, will lead the end-to-end forecasting process for key retail and wholesale accounts, ensuring optimal product availability, forecast accuracy, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires close collaboration across cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Order Management, and Product Division (HQ), to deliver accurate and timely demand plans. The Senior Manager will play a critical role in driving the CPFR process, preparing and leading S&OP meetings, and ensuring that supply chain decisions are supported by accurate market and sales data.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Key Account Management – Directly manage demand planning operations for major accounts such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, and Costco.
  • CPFR Leadership – Lead CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) meetings for assigned accounts on a weekly and/or monthly basis, with deep engagement in the entire process.
  • S&OP Leadership – Prepare and lead weekly or monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align forecasts, inventory, and supply strategies.
  • PSI Management – Maintain and update channel PSI, Sell-In, and Sell-Out forecasts by account
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Order Management, and Product Division (HQ) to gather, validate, and consolidate account-specific data.
  • Aging Inventory Management – Partner with Product Management and Sales to drive depletion strategies for aging inventory, consolidating data and providing actionable insights.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking – Generate reports detailing forecast accuracy, sales performance comparing target, and promotional impact; continuously refine forecasting methods.
  • Team Leadership – Lead the Demand Planning team, fostering collaboration, professional development, and operational efficiency.
  • Technology & Automation – Utilize forecasting software and AI-driven tools to improve prediction accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects – Manage various ad-hoc tasks and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in forecasting tools, ERP/MRP systems, and advanced Excel; familiarity with data analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Process Expertise: Strong knowledge of CPFR, S&OP, inventory management, and forecast accuracy metrics.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, drive collaboration, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Comfortable attending offices Monday to Thursday, Friday at home.
Education and Experience:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in consumer goods, appliances, or retail supply chain operations; familiarity with major U.S. retail accounts such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, and Costco.
  • Experience working with large datasets, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
