Role and Responsibilities

The Manager, Supply Chain of CPFR- Builder Channel will lead Supply Planning and Allocation for the SEA Sales Subsidiary and will be responsible for multiple Digital Appliance (DA) product categories and support teams. The Manager will be the primary liaison with SEA Sales and Marketing, and with Global Operations in SEC (Suwon, Korea), to ensure optimized supply levels for the respective DA Category that are managed based on real time forecasts and deliveries. The Manager will also be responsible for allocation and fulfillment of available inventory to recognize and track revenue progress for the Subsidiary, inventory management for SEA and for the Account Channels, and for SCM KPI and exception Management. This position regularly works with Senior Leadership across multiple SEA Functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Logistics and will provide Executive level briefing and reports on a weekly basis. The Manager will also lead discussions with Senior Leadership at external Customers and with SEC Global Representatives in Suwon, Korea for both Operations and Innovation Projects. This position may require travel as required (up to 10%).

Position Objective

Optimize SEA Inventory across Warehouses and Storage Locations to maximize sales while minimizing inventory risks and costs utilizing KPI and Real-Time orders and forecasts including Channel Sell-Out Achieve Financial Forecast Targets by managing Inventory Fulfillment and Delivery for Revenue Recognition Supply Chain Lead for DA Product Category and liaison with External and Internal Stakeholders for initiatives, exception management, and to mitigate risks Manage a team of SCM CPFR Planners to achieve goals above.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: 6-10 years’ experience in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Forecasting, Innovation Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA is a plus 3-5 years Managing People and Teams Experience in leading indirect cross functional resources in a matrix organization
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of the organization including weekly Executive level engagement across multiple functions and teams
  • Experience leveraging market and industry insights to execute strategy
  • Strong project management, analytical and interpersonal skills required
  • Bilingual Korean and English helpful for communications with Global Factories and Offices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Forecast Management experience critical with strong background in Supply Chain Fortune 500 or Global experience in a Hardware Company (e.g., Consumer Electronics, not software or services)
  • Will be based in Plano, Texas to support Digital Appliance Accounts and Channels
  • Strong communications skills (PowerPoint, business case justification, P&L Analysis) to drive collaboration with Strategic Customers and Partners
  • Must be comfortable with a weekly/daily Forecast rhythm, not monthly which is unlike many industries
  • Bilingual Korean/English strongly preferred (Team Leads need to communicate with HQ Office in Suwon, Korea and HQ Dispatchers across Factories and Subsidiaries).
