Job description


Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CPA role located in Frisco, CO. The CPA will prepare and review individual and business tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Daily responsibilities include drafting and analyzing financial statements, performing general accounting tasks, and assisting with tax planning throughout the year. The role involves communicating with clients to gather information, explain findings, and provide guidance on accounting and tax matters. The CPA will also support month-end and year-end closing activities, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with colleagues to improve internal processes and client service.

Qualifications

  • Strong Accounting and Finance skills, including general ledger management and understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements for individuals and businesses.
  • Experience in Tax Preparation, including federal, state, and local returns and basic tax planning.
  • Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or eligibility to obtain CPA licensure within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and sound judgment in applying accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
  • Proficiency with accounting and tax software, as well as common office productivity tools.
