Job description

In this detail-driven role, you'll support general ledger activities, assist with month-end processes, and collaborate closely with our Accounting Manager on critical functions like payroll, reporting, and accounts payable. As a CoVantage team member, you'll receive a 401k employer match of up to 200%, a bonus of annual salary up to 4%, a generous employer HSA contribution, and paid time off for community service.
Job Duties
  • Accurately completes daily general ledger balancing, reconciliations, and month-end procedures within established deadlines.
  • Maintains accurate financial records and ensures proper recording and reconciliation of ledger and subsidiary accounts.
    Compiles financial data and supports preparation of financial reports, while assisting in analysis of costs, revenues, and financial commitments.
  • Supports core accounting functions including balance sheet management, accounts payable, tax payments, regulatory reporting (e.g., Reg D), and unclaimed property.
  • Utilizes accounting systems efficiently, maintains organized processes, and minimizes rework through accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Documents processes, ensures audit readiness, and adheres to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborates with team members by reviewing work when needed and performing all duties with professionalism and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Professional experience in Accounting preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Ability to independently organize and prioritize work accurately underrate moderate to severe time constraints.
  • Proper business telephone etiquette.
  • Must be bondable.
