The Opportunity

You will serve as a premier field leader, driving the high-quality construction of custom decks, porch roofs, and outdoor living structures. This role allows you to showcase your carpentry expertise while mentoring a dedicated field crew in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will have the autonomy to manage residential jobsites and directly impact our reputation for excellence across the Pittsburgh region.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead on-site field crews to ensure precise installation of custom decks and porch roofs.
  • Manage daily jobsite operations in strict accordance with project plans and quality standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through clear, professional communication with residential clients.
  • Master complex finish carpentry layouts and framing structures to deliver beautiful outdoor spaces.
  • Coordinate material logistics and daily tasks to keep residential projects on schedule.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite environment for your team and homeowners.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience building custom outdoor structures, porch roofs, and residential decks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a field crew and manage jobsite operations effectively.
  • Deep expertise in residential framing, finish carpentry, and structural wood construction.
  • Strong communication skills necessary for managing homeowner relationships and crew dynamics.
  • Ability to provide an abundance of photos showcasing your past high-quality carpentry installs.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 or more years of dedicated residential carpentry or specialized deck building experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of residential building codes and custom outdoor living design trends.
  • Experience utilizing advanced safety certifications such as OSHA, Fall Protection, or Lifts.
