Housekeeper for Town Center at Cobb in Kennesaw, GA.

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the mall premises. This includes cleaning public areas, restrooms, food court spaces, and service corridors to ensure a positive experience for shoppers, tenants, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize all public areas including entrances, corridors, restrooms, elevators, escalators, and seating areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a neat appearance throughout the mall.
  • Empty trash bins, clean waste disposal areas, and ensure proper waste segregation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food court areas, including tables, floors, and condiment stations.
  • Replenish supplies in restrooms (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.).
  • Wipe down glass doors, display windows, and signage as needed.
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests, spills, or accidents.
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged property to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to training and guidelines.
  • Assist with mall events or seasonal cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience (preferably in malls, airports, or public facilities).
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks (bending, lifting, standing, walking for extended periods).
  • Flexible schedule; ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions:

  • Indoor and outdoor work environments within the mall premises.
  • Standing and walking for long periods.
  • May require working early mornings, late evenings, weekends, or holidays depending on mall hours.
