Job description

Security Officers will work closely with the Security Director to provide surveillance and deterrence to the parking lot and clubhouse areas and help implement departmental and emergency procedures. The Security Officer will assist the Director of Security with security operations designed to protect the members, guests, and employees of the club as well as the property and assets.
Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Enforce security procedures for protection of members, guests, employees, and their property
  • Exercise general surveillance over parking lot operation by providing systematic patrols to ensure protection of vehicles and property, controlling access to parking lots, and instituting traffic parking procedures
  • Assist the investigation of alleged crimes on club premises; cooperate with area law enforcement agencies if advised by the Director of Security in the investigation of crimes including the exchange of reports and information
  • Coordinate the removal of unauthorized vehicles from the club's property by a towing company
  • Complete written reports of all complaints and violations
  • Report maintenance, lighting, plumbing, and electrical immediately to the Director of Security
  • Conduct routine safety inspections on a random and recurring basis
  • Maintain positive and professional relationships with local police, fire, and emergency response
  • Monitor the attire of persons entering the club to ensure compliance with the dress code
