Job Description
Prescient Edge is seeking a Mid Counterintelligence Investigations Desk Officer/ Intelligence Technician to support a Federal government client.
As a Mid Counterintelligence Investigations Desk Officer/ Intelligence Technician, you will:
  • Integrate, manage, assess, and provide focused analysis in support of Counterintelligence Investigations and Operations
  • Review and analyze reporting and case files related to CI investigations and produce analytical and CI reviews that identify investigative gaps and operational potential to include CI flags, CI indicators, and operational vulnerabilities which pose a CI threat to HUMINT activities
  • Conduct coordination among analytical elements of the DoD, INSCOM, Army Service Component Commands, other government agencies, and DA for CI investigations matters and provide threat-related data back to the division as it relates to CI investigations
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational briefings with Government Team, Branch, and Division Chiefs
  • Review active and terminated investigations for vulnerabilities, leads, and trends as well as prepare them for retirement
  • Develop counterintelligence products as required in accordance with this PWS

Job Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability and willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses:
    • Army - Counterintelligence Special Agent Course (CISAC)
    • Army - 351L Course (or its predecessor)
    • Army - 35E Course (or its predecessor)
    • Air Force -Basic Special Investigators Course (BISC), U.S. Air Force Special Investigations Academy, or predecessor
    • Navy - Special Agent Basic Training Program (SABTB), Naval Criminal Investigative Service Training Academy, or predecessor. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a credentialed Counterintelligence Special Agent
  • Understanding of counterintelligence investigations, CI flags, and FIE TTPs
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Ability to clearly express oneself verbally
  • Ability to write in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the specified labor category description
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply Intelligence Community (IC) and DoD classification guidelines and procedures

  • Demonstrated understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, to include but not limited to, technical sensors/platforms and human intelligence sources related to the position
  • Demonstrated understanding of evaluating collected intelligence reporting, engaging with collection managers, and developing collection requirements
  • Demonstrated comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category.
