Job Summary:
The counter sales position will increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting customers in the selection and purchase of needed products. This position will require travel to multiple Leeps locations to provide staffing support at the sales counter, as needed. When not traveling, this individual will be assigned to a single primary branch.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter customer order into ERP system
  • Provide each customer with the Leeps Customer Service Experience
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, or add-on sales strategies, increasing line items per ticket
  • Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product, pricing and availability information to customer
  • Handle customer service issues and returns in a professional manner
  • Stay current on job queues
  • Follow company guidelines for sales, operations, pricing, and credit
  • Light warehouse duties including deliveries, as needed
  • Stay current on product lines and exhibit technical expertise
  • Demonstrate understanding and application of effective sales strategies and techniques
  • Meet sales goals
  • Exhibit professionalism with phone and electronic communications
  • Conduct basic inventory counts, warehousing, and stocking procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Work Experience and Competencies:
