Job description

M&K Truck Centers is a premier commercial truck dealership specializing in Mack and Volvo parts. We are committed to delivering exceptional service and quality products to our customers.

We are seeking a Parts Counter Salesperson, who will deliver top-notch customer service and manage the sale and distribution of heavy-duty truck parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize catalogs and computer systems to identify replacement truck parts, stock numbers, and pricing.

  • Assess customer needs through inspections of old parts or descriptions of malfunctions to recommend appropriate replacements.

  • Efficiently process telephone orders for Mack and Volvo truck parts.

  • Fulfill customer orders from warehouse stock and prepare accurate sales slips or contracts.

  • Handle payments and obtain credit authorizations as necessary.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels in the parts counter.

  • Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are unavailable, ensuring satisfaction.

  • Inspect returned parts for defects and facilitate exchanges or refunds as needed.

  • Organize and label parts in the warehouse according to established systems for easy retrieval.

  • Catalog and categorize parts to ensure proper placement on the stock shelves.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in parts counter sales, specifically related to heavy-duty truck parts.

  • Experience with Volvo, Mack Isuzu, Hino parts is a plus

  • Familiarity with CDK software is a plus.
