The Opportunity

Oak Hill Country Club is one of the nation's premier private clubs, known for world-class hospitality, championship golf, and a tradition of exceptional member experiences. We are seeking an Overnight Security Officer who takes pride in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our members, guests, employees, and property.

As the Club sleeps, you'll play an important role in protecting one of Rochester's most iconic private clubs while serving as a trusted resource for overnight cottage guests and ensuring our property is prepared for another exceptional day.

Position Details

Status: Part-Time, Year-Round

Schedule: 2-3 overnight shifts per week, between the hours of 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $17.00-$19.50 per hour, based on experience.

What You'll Do

• Conduct routine patrols throughout the clubhouse, grounds, parking lots, and surrounding property.

• Monitor club access, parking operations, and facility security while ensuring all safety procedures are followed.

• Welcome and assist overnight cottage guests as the primary overnight point of contact.

• Complete daily shift logs, incident reports, and communicate important information to Club leadership.

• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or security concerns to help protect the property.

• Assist with first aid kit inspections, safety checks, and emergency response when necessary.

• Coordinate with local authorities when appropriate and assist with incident investigations.

• Support other Club departments as needed while maintaining a safe, professional environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, facilities, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to remain calm, professional, and make sound decisions in a variety of situations.

• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to prepare accurate reports and document incidents clearly.

• Willingness to work overnight, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to walk the property for extended periods and perform physical duties, including lifting up to 75 pounds when necessary.
