Job Title: Automotive Deal Coster / Bookkeeper
Location: Nassau County, NY
Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us:
We are a busy, well-established automotive dealership in Nassau County seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Deal Coster / Bookkeeper to join our accounting team. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our vehicle sales and financial records.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and cost all new and used vehicle deals accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify deal documentation for completeness and compliance
  • Post vehicle sales, trade-ins, commissions, and related transactions
  • Reconcile schedules including inventory, receivables, and payables
  • Work closely with the sales and finance departments to resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records of all deals and accounting entries
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting
  • Ensure adherence to dealership policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as an automotive deal coster, title clerk, or dealership bookkeeper required
  • Strong understanding of dealership accounting and deal structures
  • Experience with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
