Job description

Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Cost Analyst for a hybrid position in Valparaiso, IN.

  • Establish lines of communications with various departments to integrate information to facilitate accurate reporting.
  • Utilize effective communication processes to disseminate relevant and timely cost information to enhance project decision making.
  • Communicate with suppliers, project staff, and other stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies or other cost tracking issues.
  • Work with multiple departments to monitor, share and analyze data resulting in more accurate project forecasting.
  • Assist in annual budget development, preparation, and associated reporting.
  • Assists in contract review with project staff to facilitate understanding of contract and related unit codes/cost to ensure more accurate project cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Develop or assist in development of project controls guidelines, standards, processes, job aids and tools.
  • Works to implement cost preventive action.
  • Perform standard project and special project cost reporting as required by the project stakeholders; compiles and produces cost reports as required and directed.
  • Apply proficiency in effective communication and assessing project stakeholders for their core and special cost reporting, cost assessment, and cost analysis needs and provide those stakeholders with optimum communication, information, and reporting
  • Maintain multiple project cost control data files for detailed and summary level information of projects in various stages of the project's life cycle.
  • Process project timesheets and maintain the Time Sheet data base.
  • Ensure correctness of submitted invoices by referencing the timesheet data base and conformed contracts.
  • Obtain payment approval for invoices from Project Managers.
  • Communicate all results and issues to the Manager of Project Controls and other departments needed.

Qualifications

  • High school & post-secondary education.
  • 8 plus years of relevant experience
