Licensed Spa Cosmetologist
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Licensed Spa Cosmetologist. In this role, you will be responsible for administering professional styling of hair, cutting, chemical services, restorative treatments, as well as apply cosmetics, & skin treatments with an emphasis on cleanliness, sanitation, & excellent guest services.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.
This is a commission-based position.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent professional styling of hair, to include but not limited to: color, bleach, frost or condition hair, adding hairpieces and weaves, relaxers, texturizers, perms, and restorative treatments
  • Provide consistent professional cosmetics that are appropriate for the client's coloring and skin tone, shape, trim, pluck and color eyebrows, or assist in the removal of unwanted facial hair.
  • Provide consistent professional skin treatments by selecting, applying or recommending masks, anti-age creams, exfoliate, and moisturizers that best suit the guests' needs.
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.

What We're Looking For
  • 2 years minimum spa/salon/stylist experience preferred
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge of hair and skin and have excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in the spa's specific facial, hair and skin treatment offerings
