Job Description

Join Gerresheimer in Peachtree City, GA as aย Process Technician - Injection Moldingย and play a key role in producing high-quality plastic components for the healthcare industry. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines in a clean room environment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and precision. You'll collaborate with engineers and production teams to maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, start up, and operate injection molding machines to produce precision parts
  • Change molds, complete setups, and perform basic mold repairs
  • Troubleshoot processing issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain, monitor, & support injection molding machines
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Perform routine mold cleaning and accurate process documentation
  • Participate in 5S activities and improvement projects
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with machine setup and troubleshooting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with thermoplastic materials
  • Comfortable with computer systems (MES, SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and follow SOPs

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of injection molding experience
  • Knowledge of ancillary equipment and a wide range of thermoplastic materials
  • Experience with robots and automated systems
  • Experience working within a regulated environment (medical / automotive)ย
