Packaging Associate - 2nd Shift: Lena, Illinois
Our customer in Lena, Illinois is a premier food production company seeking hard-working individuals to join their packaging department. As a Packaging Associate, you will be responsible for general packaging, stacking, lifting, and restocking of material into equipment.
Responsibilities of the Packaging Associate:
  • Work in both packaging and production areas as needed.
  • In packaging, perform general tasks such as packaging, stacking, lifting, and restocking material into equipment.
  • In production, handle tasks involved in the production of brie, goat, and feta cheese.
  • Use equipment to support manufacturing, packaging, and other production steps.
  • Follow standard work methods and safe work practices to ensure efficiency and safety in production.
Packaging Associate Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Stand continuously throughout the shift.
  • Frequently stoop, bend, and reach at chest level, above, or below.
  • Occasionally squat and climb stairs or ladders.
  • Occasionally push and pull 50โ€“1000 lbs. using a cart.
  • Lift and carry up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
