We are looking for our next Account Manager, Cosmetics, within our Sales team. The Account Manager will be responsible for building newbusiness, visiting customers and distributors, developingsolutionsand contributing to an enjoyable customer journey with all the support of the RoquetteBeauteTeam. With a clear strategy, a start-upmindsetand an innovative plant-based product portfolio, you will havea great opportunityto develop the RoquetteBeauteBusiness.

This position is remote but requires applicants to be located in the NYC or Northern New Jersey region to ensure accessibility for periodic onsite meetings.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $135,103 - $182,830. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

What You'll Do:

The North America Cosmetics Business Developer will have the responsibility to develop and grow the Cosmetics business for Roquette and drive sales of innovation products in the USA and Canada.

  • Responsible for managing and growing sales in North America for the personal care market focused on Skin care, Color Cosmetics, Oral care, Haircareand Fragrance segments
  • Collaborate with Channel partners, as needed, to deliver the best solution to Roquette customers
  • Generate profitable growth for Roquette measurable in variable margin contribution
  • Generate new leads and expand customer activities through a "hunter" mentality
  • Promote and drive sales of Innovation products
  • Identify,developand nurture customer-driven Sales Funnel (project pipeline) in collaboration with Marketing and Customer Technical Service (CTS)
  • Convert "won" opportunities in the Sales Funnel topurchaseorders
  • Understand market trends and the competitive environment in our Cosmetics market segments
  • Continuouslyprovidemarket and customer feedback to all internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and aim to continuously increase the Net Promoter Score (NPS) at customer accounts in the designated regional territory

What You'll Need:

Education:

  • Minimum of B.S. degree in chemistry, chemicalengineeringor related field (M.S. preferred; MBA is a plus).

Experience:

  • 10 or more years' experience in the B2B Cosmetics Industry
  • Strong network in the Cosmetics market
  • Willingness to travel extensively, as needed, to perform the role (50%+)
  • Other foreignlanguages area plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Ability to independently problem solve and exercise good judgment
  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated, result-oriented, and committed to the project
  • Ability to adopt a start-up-mindset, an agile approach and to work cross-functionally
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to present information in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner
  • Demonstrated passion and skill sets for self-directed customer interaction, effective customer development, and problem-solving activities
