Automotive Technician
Jerry's Chevrolet & Corvette Center - Beresford, SD
Jerry's Chevrolet & Corvette Center is growing, and we're looking for an Automotive Technician to join our team in Beresford, South Dakota.
We are seeking an experienced A or B Level Technician, but we are willing to consider technicians of all skill levels who are motivated, dependable, and eager to learn. If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a family-owned dealership that values its employees, we'd love to talk with you.
What You'll Do
  • Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
  • Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings.
  • Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors and management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Stay current on manufacturer training and industry advancements.
  • Assist with mentoring and training less experienced technicians when applicable.
Qualifications
  • Previous automotive repair experience preferred.
  • A or B Level Technician experience strongly preferred.
  • GM experience is a plus but not required.
  • ASE Certifications are a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties associated with automotive repair.
