South-West Multi County Correction Center is currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Correctional Officers at Dakota Women's Correctional and Rehabilitation Center in New England, ND. As a Correctional Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our facility while also providing guidance and support to those in our care.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and monitor inmates to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations with fairness and consistency.
  • Conduct routine inspections of cells and common areas.
  • Escort inmates to and from designated areas within the facility.
  • Assist in the implementation of rehabilitative programs for inmates.
  • Document and report any incidents or unusual behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being of inmates.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a correctional facility is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
