Correctional Medication Aides are healthcare professionals who work in correctional facilities, such as jails or prisons, to assist in administering prescribed medications to inmates. They are responsible for ensuring that medications are distributed accurately and safely according to medical orders, documenting administration, and monitoring for adverse reactions. Correctional Medication Aides work under the supervision of licensed nurses or healthcare providers and play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of incarcerated individuals. Their duties may also involve maintaining medical records and following strict protocols to ensure security and compliance within the facility.

What are some common challenges faced by correctional medication aides when administering medications in a correctional facility?
