Job description

About Vantage Data Centers
Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world's well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.
Information Technology Department
The Information Technology Department architects and operates the digital foundation powering Vantage Data Centers' global operations while pioneering the intelligent transformation of how we work. Our integrated IT/AI organization delivers enterprise-grade infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user services with operational excellence, while simultaneously developing artificial intelligence capabilities that drive measurable business value. We are transforming our service delivery model around ITIL best practices, comprehensive automation frameworks, and governance structures that enable both stability and innovation. Our teams collaborate across Infrastructure, Network, Service Desk, IT Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence functions, emphasizing service over technology and recognizing that success is measured by business outcomes rather than technical implementations. This is an exceptional time to join as we fundamentally reshape how technology serves the organization, creating an environment where operational discipline and innovative experimentation work as complementary forces.
Artificial Intelligence Team
The Artificial Intelligence Team exists to amplify human potential through intelligent technology. We're building an AI-powered ecosystem that transforms how Vantage creates value, freeing our people from routine work so they can focus on innovation and strategic thinking that truly differentiates us in the market. Through responsible AI implementation across operations, engineering, and business functions, we're not just automating processes; we're reimagining what's possible when human creativity partners with artificial intelligence. Our approach centers on measurable business outcomes, ethical governance, and creating capabilities that make every team member more effective while positioning Vantage at the forefront of the intelligent infrastructure revolution.
Position Overview
This role is based in Denver, CO with a flexible work arrangement: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
The Navigator, Corporate Services, Global serves as a trusted advisor and discovery catalyst embedded within Vantage's Corporate Services function. This role acts as the critical bridge between business operations and AI possibilities, translating operational friction points into validated opportunities for AI-driven transformation. Rather than managing programs or building solutions, this Navigator discovers, validates, and prepares high-impact AI opportunities for rapid prototyping by the Accelerators team. Operating as an embedded AI business partner, this role focuses on AI transformation across Vantage's corporate services functions including Finance, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and People & Culture. This Navigator serves as the embedded business partner for enterprise-enabling functions, identifying opportunities where AI can streamline financial operations, accelerate legal review processes, strengthen compliance monitoring, and enhance the employee experience across the full talent lifecycle. This position represents the front line of Vantage's AI transformation within Corporate Services, where strategic vision meets operational reality. Success requires equal parts business acumen, technical fluency, and the interpersonal skills to build trust across diverse stakeholders who may be skeptical, curious, or enthusiastic about AI's potential.
Essential Job Functions
  • Embed within Corporate Services functions to build trusted relationships with leaders across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Compliance, and People & Culture, becoming the go-to resource for AI opportunity identification in enterprise-enabling workflows.
  • Conduct structured discovery sessions to map current state workflows across financial planning, accounts payable/receivable, contract management, compliance monitoring, talent acquisition, performance management, and employee services, identifying where AI can eliminate constraints and reduce manual effort.
  • Translate corporate services challenges into preliminary AI use cases, assessing feasibility against available data in ERP, HRIS, contract management, and compliance systems, and organizational readiness for process transformation.
  • Validate AI opportunities through rapid assessment of business value potential, evaluating impact on process cycle times, error reduction, compliance risk mitigation, cost savings, and employee satisfaction improvements.
  • Develop detailed intake documentation capturing business context, data source inventory across enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, CLM, GRC), integration requirements, regulatory considerations, and preliminary success criteria for the Accelerators team.
  • Maintain deep understanding of corporate governance frameworks, regulatory compliance requirements, financial controls, and employment law considerations that constrain and inform AI opportunity assessment in corporate services.
  • Champion responsible AI principles with particular attention to sensitive data handling in HR contexts, attorney-client privilege considerations in legal workflows, and SOX compliance requirements in financial processes.
  • Build a champion network within Corporate Services, identifying process owners, analysts, and operational leaders who can amplify AI adoption and provide feedback on prototype solutions.
  • Monitor emerging AI capabilities for corporate functions including intelligent document processing, automated compliance monitoring, predictive analytics for workforce planning, and contract analysis to identify new opportunity patterns.

Duties
  • Conduct regular listening tours within Finance, Legal, People & Culture, and Compliance to understand evolving priorities, pain points, and regulatory changes that could benefit from AI augmentation.
  • Facilitate workshops that help corporate services leaders envision AI transformation beyond basic document automation, exploring predictive analytics, intelligent workflow routing, and decision support capabilities.
  • Document opportunity assessments capturing business impact, system integration complexity, data sensitivity classifications, regulatory constraints, and resource implications specific to corporate services workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal and Compliance on opportunities involving sensitive data, ensuring all proposed solutions address data privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance from inception.
  • Partner with function leaders to develop success criteria focused on corporate services KPIs including process cycle times, error rates, compliance audit outcomes, cost per transaction, and employee satisfaction scores.
  • Maintain awareness of AI initiatives across operational and engineering functions to identify cross-functional data opportunities, such as how financial data could inform operational decision-making.
  • Contribute to methodology improvement with insights from the unique compliance and confidentiality constraints of corporate services environments.
  • Translate AI concepts into finance, legal, and HR terminology that resonates with corporate services professionals, building AI literacy across these specialized functions.
  • Support change management by addressing unique concerns in corporate services, such as the role of AI in HR decision-making, legal review augmentation, and financial controls assurance.
  • Track discovery pipeline health within Corporate Services and report on opportunity conversion and validation metrics.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years overall work experience, with 3+ years working in or closely supporting corporate services functions (Finance, Legal, HR, Compliance) within corporate environments or consulting contexts.
  • Strong foundation in enterprise function workflows such as financial planning and analysis, accounts payable/receivable, contract lifecycle management, compliance frameworks, talent acquisition, or HR operations.
  • Practical understanding of AI capabilities including intelligent document processing, natural language processing for contract analysis, predictive analytics, and workflow automation as they apply to corporate services.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems including ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday), HRIS systems, contract management tools, and GRC platforms that inform data availability for AI solutions.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements including SOX, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), employment law, and corporate governance frameworks that constrain AI application in corporate contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business processes into structured opportunity assessments that technical teams can act upon.
  • Experience conducting stakeholder discovery across multiple corporate functions, with ability to adapt to varied professional cultures (finance vs. legal vs. HR).
  • Proven capability to build credibility with senior executives and functional specialists alike, particularly in regulated environments where accuracy and compliance are paramount.
  • Track record of identifying process improvements in corporate services environments that delivered measurable efficiency gains or risk reduction.
  • Comfort with sensitive data handling and strong judgment about appropriate AI applications involving employee data, financial records, and legal documents.
  • Excellent listening skills and curiosity about the operational details of corporate functions, combined with discretion regarding confidential business information.
  • Familiarity with responsible AI principles and data ethics, particularly as they relate to HR decision-making, financial controls, and legal privilege.
  • Travel required is expected to be 10-15% for stakeholder engagement across corporate services functions.

Physical Demands and Special Requirements
