We currently have 20 stores located in 11 different states and we are just getting started. •    Monday – Friday only
•    8:00 AM – 5:00 PM  

Compensation:

Service Advisor

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Extend a professional and welcoming greeting to every customer immediately 
•    Verify all customer information including email and cell phone with every customer 
•    Gather all necessary vehicle information correctly and record accurately 
•    Identify customers primary concern and accurately document everything needed to ensure vehicle will be fixed right the first time 
•    Write a detailed repair order for each customer given their needs 
•    Perform visual walk around of the vehicle making any note of vehicle condition 
•    Work with and assist automotive technicians on repair orders 
•    Perform clear and consistent communication with every customer 
•    Handle all customer concerns immediately with a fair resolution for the customer and the dealership 
•    Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction scores 
•    Give fair and competitive price quotes along with detailed documentation 
•    Follow all factory guidelines for warranty coverage 
•    Apply a high standard of employee conduct including reliability, promptness, appearance and professional behavior 
•    Additional duties assigned 

Required Skills:
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and address their concerns
•    Understanding of automotive systems and terminology to explain issues and services to customers accurately.
•    Capability to upsell services and products while maintaining customer trust.
•    Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet service deadlines and improve customer satisfaction.

Preferred Experience:
•    Prior work in the automotive industry, whether as a technician, mechanic, or in a related role, helps build a strong technical foundation.
•    Background in customer-facing roles, especially in service-oriented industries, is crucial for developing interpersonal skills and understanding customer needs.
•    Experience in sales, particularly in automotive or related fields, can help in upselling services and managing customer relationships effectively.
•    Familiarity with service department operations, including scheduling, parts inventory, and workflow, is beneficial.
•    Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and software can improve communication with technicians and help in troubleshooting.

Physical Expectations:
•    Walking and standing for extended periods, especially when interacting with customers or checking the service area.
•    Occasional bending, stretching, or reaching to handle paperwork or while inspecting vehicles.
•    Visual Acuity to be able to inspect vehicles and read documents (even though most work is administrative, there could be a need to inspect cars on the lot).
•    Verbal Communication the ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers’ concerns, technicians’ explanations, and communicate effectively.
•    Auditory Acuity to hear well to communicate with coworkers and customers in potentially noisy environments (like the service department).
•    Manual Dexterity to use a computer, phone, or other office equipment efficiently.
•    Light Lifting to occasionally lift or move light objects, such as parts, paperwork, or small tools weighing up to 20-30 lbs.
•    Sitting for Extended Periods such as sitting at a desk or in meetings, handling tasks and paperwork.
