About BrightPath Kids / Busy Bees

We are committed to providing exceptional early childhood education in safe, nurturing environments. Our corporate finance team plays an important role in supporting this mission by delivering the insights, analysis, and decision support that help drive growth, strengthen performance, and support long-term value creation.

This role offers meaningful exposure to strategic decision-making, acquisitions, financial planning, performance reporting, and operational analysis within a fast-growing, private equity-backed organization.

Working closely with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, and Corporate Development, this individual will help evaluate business opportunities, build financial insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment who is looking to bring that skill set into an operating business.

What You’ll Do

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis
  • Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs to identify trends and performance opportunities
  • Assist in evaluating acquisition opportunities, including diligence, quality of earnings review, and synergy analysis
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for internal leadership and external stakeholders
  • Support post-acquisition integration modeling and performance tracking
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting materials for executive leadership and board stakeholders
  • Analyze operating performance across revenue streams, cost structures, and geographic markets
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve visibility into business performance and key trends
  • Partner with Operations, FP&A, and business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses, market research, competitive benchmarking, and pricing-related work

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, corporate development, transaction advisory, or a similarly rigorous analytical role
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including three-statement models, discounted cash flow analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and sensitivity analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables. VBA or macros experience is a plus
  • Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, executive-ready materials
  • Experience developing and analyzing dashboards, KPIs, and performance reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • U.S. work authorization required
  •
