Meet the Team
The Execution Services team supports the firm's interaction with market participants and external counterparties across a range of investment-related activities. Within this team, the corporate access and corporate engagement function focuses on building and maintaining relationships with company management teams, industry participants, and other external resources to help facilitate high-quality engagement opportunities for Millennium's investment professionals. The US Healthcare Sector Specialist Associate will be in a multi-faceted role that includes content creation supporting the investment workflow while also supporting the effort to broaden the Millennium corporate access and cross asset offering.
What You'll Do
• Support the US Healthcare Sector Specialist in direct engagement with Healthcare companies, including SMID therapeutics companies, to expand Millennium's corporate access program
• Build relationships with company management teams and serve as a point of contact to help request, coordinate, and secure meetings for Millennium's investment professionals
• Prepare detailed meeting notes and summaries for originated meetings with corporates, industry experts, sell-side resources, non-deal roadshows, and conference participants
• Generate regular content on a range of topics and themes across the Healthcare landscape for broader consumption, by analyzing market research databases and other sources, including public filings, company transcripts, sell-side research, and industry expert insights
• Support primary research effort by facilitating and running expert calls across therapeutic areas
• Use technology tools and systems to document and enhance the management of originated corporate access interactions
• Partner closely with Millennium's Corporate Access Team to deliver a high level of service to companies, portfolio managers, and analysts
• Assist with reports, presentations, strategy sessions, and relevant external events, including conferences, trade shows, and investor relations events, while representing Millennium professionally
What You Bring
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and financial analysis
• Understanding of Healthcare industry concepts and terminology
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and professionally
• Ability to work independently while also thriving in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Proven ability to manage tasks through completion with a high level of ownership and follow-through
• Sound interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts
• Prior exposure to Equity Research, Spec Sales, Investment Banking, Investor Relations, or a related field is a plus, and a degree or prior experience in life sciences is preferred
Salary Range
Millennium offers a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $250,000, which is specific to New York City and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
