Job description

Do you enjoy working wtih people and pets?  Join our team of friendly, upbeat and passionate animal caregivers at Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic in Piqua, OH!  We are a high quality veterinary practice offering medical and surgical care to the dogs and cats in our community.  We are searching for hospital attendants/veterinary assistants to help us provide a warm, cheerful and personal touch for our loyal clients and their pets.  We offer our team members great pay, awesome benefits, fantastic training and engaging continuing education.  Check out our website, find us on facebook and most importantly contact us to apply today!

Responsibilities 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the hospital 
  • Maintain all patients in a clean and comfortable environment 
  • Assist veterinarians and technicians with treatment, medication and care of patients
Qualifications
  • Experience working with animals desired
  • Familiarity with animal handling procedures and best practices
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be eager to learn new skills and receptive to coaching
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably
  • Ability to comfortably perform repetitive motions of the hands, arms and legs
